Not all cars are pretty. But some are ugly for no reason. Even if they only made a 100 of these, they were 99 too many based on looks. Behold, the Mosler Consulier GTP, with a face its own mother would disown. But I heard they got their devotees. A 1991 3000GT put 220HP vs the 190HP from a 2.4 Dodge engine in the Consulier, so I can’t imagine a rocketship.

. Seems designed from a body kit created with a CAD program built in 1988. But hey, whatever floats your boat. We all like weird and strange from time to time. But today, I’ll pass.

It may be 30hp down(stock, not now), but it probably weighs not much more than half of what the 3000GT does.

Had to start somewhere. To be honest, that car is still a sleeper even today thanks to its heavily-dated looks and performance updates. NP if it stays under 20k$.

I watched a video about these a couple years back about these. Apparently they were pretty quick, but are horribly ugly.

Going by the parts installed for the engine rebuild I’d say it’s pushing considerably more than 190 horsepower.
But, yeah.. Fugly.

Think about the old Lotus Europa. Looks like ass but goes like stink! Comsulier was so fast the series-2 car (2100 lbs) was given a 300 pound weight penalty and then summarily banned from any IMSA events. With current updates, it could have a power /weight ratio of 10:1 or significantly less than that and weighing only a ton or less, could probably corner hard enough to squeeze a brain out of an ear. Acceleration isn’t everything and neither are looks.

I’m in on the bidding, they’re purported to be fantastic track machines, and that’s a very tune-able motor.
Disclaimer: I once owned an Alfa Milano, so I’m not one to let an ugly car get in the way of a great drive.

I checked - 1991 3000GT ranges from 3,090–3,770 lb (VR4) vs 1991 Mosler at 2,166 (GTS) with 190HP (stock) - vs The 3000GT SL is a good comparo - 220HP, 3,190 lb, 5MT. But I guess the numbers are not the story with these Moslers.

I kind of like it. In the same way as a Volvo 240 for example. It’s not beautiful but it’s awesome in it’s own way.
